This is a piece of artwork that encompasses the broader feelings of defeat. This could serve as a reminder of the past you come from and that your defeat is always going to be a part of you. This is a tattoo that is meant to be worn on the left arm, representing death and defeat with the king and queen endgame in chess, as well as the 13 cuts bleeding C# Minor in ink. C# Minor sounds like death and is thought of as a key signature used in music that reflects the theme of the tattoo.
I created it in adobe illustrator with very little experience, it was definitely a struggle for me. The ledger lines are supposed to be thinner than the outline of the pieces but I can see that it doesn’t show very well. I chose to keep the outline because I think it looks better with them, although if I were to actually consider a tattoo like this I would want to make sure that it is detailed to the fullest and that it has no borderlines.
