1. What is the difference between Photoshop and Illustrator in terms of what the programs are used for?
Photoshop is used for photo editing where illustrator is meant to design logos and create images.
2. What is the difference between the shape tools and the pen tool?
The shape tools create shapes and the pen tool creates new lines.
3. What is the pathfinder tool? What does it do? How did you use it to build your coloring page?
The pathfinder tool is used to merge lines and shapes.

The pathfinder tool changes the line after it has already been made, so you can curve lines and change the shapes to make them fit the image better.
5. Did you prefer using the shapes and pathfinder tool or the pen tool? Explain.
The pathfinder works better than the pen tool because it requires less work, however the pathfinder tool is improperly named and confused me greatly.

Illustrator is like trying to sketch an image with the led from a mechanical pencil but without the mechanical pencil.
